Trivia

  • This episode used the song, Let's Have A Race and included all the international engines from The Great Race, because they are both related.
  • The names given to Thomas' new trucks are all named after Ramma 1/2 characters, which was where Kuno and Kodachi Ranko's names originated from. The names given to James' new trucks are all named after bad updates YouTube had made to their site.
    • Google + was named after the feature of the same name.
    • Beta was named after the YouTube Beta Channel designs users had from 2009 to 2012.
    • Cosmic Panda was named after the YouTube Channel designs that were around from 2012 to 2013.
    • YouTube One was named after the current YouTube channel designs.
    • ByeBulletins was named after the removal of YouTube bulletins in 2009.
    • NoUnSubscribe was named after the removal of the option to remove unwanted subscribers from a YouTube channel, as well as making it so that blocking a user no longer prevents them from subscribing, nor removing a subscription that already exists. Prior to 2014, users used to have the option to remove unwanted subscribers, and this bad idea is what NoUnSubscribe was named after.
    • RatingsDisablerGone was named after the removal of the option to disable ratings on videos and replacing it with the option to hide ratings instead.
    • NoNotifications was named after a long-lasting glitch were sometimes, someone may post a comment on someone's video, but the owner of the video isn't sent the notice about it.
  • Originally, Vinnie's role was meant to be given to a troll, however, the good user, Grantgamez, requested this part. There was never any particular troll planned to be given this character before Grantgamez requested it himself.
  • As of February 2018, this is the most viewed episode of Kuno the Tank Engine Generation 2, and the fourth most viewed video overall on Eli J. Brony's channel.
